About me
Many years ago I knew I wanted to assist in healing of others. My travels opened the door to Reiki yet I never found a Reiki master that I felt comfortable taking the training from. In 2006 I was introduced to Phyllis Kates and I soon knew that she was the one to train me. Phyllis comes from the traditional Reiki Lineage that can be traced back to Dr. Usui himself. I trained with Phyllis through my Reiki II credentials. I offered services to those with many different complaints, headaches, fibromyalgia, back pain and neck pain to name a few. In addition I have also worked with children that suffered from ADD and ADHD. In all of these cases I have left each session humbled to know that I was a facilitator to the healing that is available with Reiki. You see as a Reiki Practioner, we allow this healing to flow through us. It is the universe, God. I have worked with Adults, children and pets as well as giving long distance sessions where the client does not have to be in the same room.
I moved to Colorado and then met a new Reiki Teacher, Trish Edwards, and found her insight, compassion and knowledge quite inspiring and have completed my Reiki Master through her. I feel as though "Mastership" in Reiki, however, is a constant process of growth and knowledge so I carry the credentials of Reiki Master but prefer to call myself an "advanced practitioner".
I am a member of International Associates of Reiki Professionals and I invite you to try a Reiki session with me. You will find my sessions to be free of everything except the pure healing abilities of Reiki.
